Martín Mosteirin joined Marval O’Farrell Mairal in 2003 and is a partner in the Health and Life Sciences Department.

His practice focuses on the biopharmaceutical, healthcare, health-tech, medical device, dental, cosmetics, personal and household care, food, animal food and health, and agribusiness industries (seeds, agrochemicals, herbicides, insecticides, fungicides, fertilizers, GMOs and other related products), among others. He provides contentious and non-contentious legal advice to leading multinational companies, focusing primarily on regulatory and compliance strategies across a broad range of matters, from day-to-day business advice to complex multinational transactions involving start-ups, joint ventures, M&A and spin-offs; product liability and recalls; contracts; compliance training and monitoring; audits and investigations; administrative proceedings and litigation (judicial and pre-litigation); and general civil and commercial advice. Martin assists clients with sophisticated, high-quality work and a multidisciplinary approach to complex projects, enhancing outcomes for clients.

Education

He graduated with a law degree from the University of Buenos Aires in 2002 and later completed two specialisations at the same university: the first in Regulatory Affairs for the Pharmaceutical Industry (Faculty of Medicine), and the second in Business Advice on International Sales of Goods, Financial Transactions and Payment Methods in Contemporary Commercial Law (Faculty of Law). He also completed the Latin America Healthcare Compliance Certification Program at Seton Hall School of Law (US University) and serves on the LATAM Advisory Board, which supports the programme’s development in Latin America.

Academic Activities

Martín regularly speaks at conferences and seminars on healthcare and health law and has written numerous articles in his practice area.

He is an active member of the International Bar Association’s Life Sciences Practice Group (IBA - Life Sciences), Lex Mundi’s Health Care and Life Sciences Practice Group, AmCham’s Health Group, Food Lawyers Network (FLN) and the Buenos Aires City Bar Association.
