Miguel del Pino joined Marval O’Farrell Mairal in 1998 and became a partner in 2008. He specializes in competition law, mergers and acquisitions.
His practice focuses on advising and representing clients before competition authorities in matters involving merger control and investigations into cartels, anticompetitive conduct and market conduct more generally.
He has also worked on mergers, acquisitions and joint ventures, advising buyers and sellers on share or asset transfers in Argentina. He also actively advises foreign clients on establishing their businesses in Argentina and complying with applicable regulations.
He has published several articles on his areas of expertise and has participated as a panelist and moderator at conferences related to his practice.
He is an assistant professor of competition law in the postgraduate course in business and economic law at the Universidad Católica Argentina. In 1995, he was an assistant professor of economics at the Facultad de Derecho de la Universidad de Buenos Aires.
He graduated with a law degree from the Universidad de Buenos Aires in 1994 and earned a Master of Laws from the University of Pennsylvania (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA) in 1997.
