He joined Marval O’Farrell Mairal in 1993 and has been a partner at the firm since 2003. A member of the Dispute Resolution Department, he specializes in insurance and reinsurance law and has been actively involved in international arbitrations.
He advises on reinsurance matters, insurance across its various lines, insurance and reinsurance claims, the drafting of insurance policies, and matters relating to producers, agents and the distribution of insurance through alternative channels.
He has led the formation and merger of insurance companies and the transfer of portfolios, and has participated in the registration of foreign reinsurers and reinsurance brokers with the Argentine authorities. He advises on matters relating to the regulatory framework for insurance and reinsurance.
In 1997, he worked as a foreign associate in the Insurance and Reinsurance Department of a London firm.
He graduated from Pontificia Universidad Católica Argentina in 1993 and earned an LLM from the University of London in 1999. He teaches insurance law at the Faculty of Law of Pontificia Universidad Católica Argentina at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, and teaches Insurtech in the postgraduate Law & Fintech program at the same university.

He has spoken at various seminars and conferences and published articles on insurance and reinsurance matters in Argentina and abroad.
He is vice president of the Argentine Association of Insurance Law (AIDA, Association Internationale de Droit des Assurances), secretary of AIDA International’s Reinsurance Working Group, and vice president of the Reinsurance Working Group of the Ibero-Latin American Committee on Insurance Law (CILA).
