Arias advises Bladex on a syndicated financing of US$100 million

Arias Law - Banco Latinoamericano de Comercio Exterior, S.A. (Bladex) has successfully concluded the granting of a syndicated loan totaling US$100 million to Banco Promerica, S.A. During this transaction, ARIAS served as the legal advisor in Guatemala for Bladex.

The financing, led by Bladex as lender, arranger, bookrunner, and administrative agent, involved the participation of 12 other financial institutions from Europe, South America, Central America, and the Caribbean acting as lenders in the transaction.

The funds obtained through the syndicated loan will be used, in accordance with the credit agreement, to foster the growth of Banco Promerica’s loan portfolio, both for businesses and individuals, among other purposes.
