Dentons Costa Rica strengthens its tax offering with new partner appointment  

Global law firm Dentons announced the addition of José Pablo González as a Tax partner in the Costa Rica office.

José Pablo brings extensive experience in international taxation, compliance issues and tax controversies. He will be a valuable addition to the team who will strengthen the Firm’s offering to its clients.

José Pablo joins Dentons Costa Rica to lead the Tax department. José Pablo’s addition to the team is a result of the commitment to strengthen the Tax practice which is extremely important for local and global clients. Dentons provides business solutions and the growing demand from clients for legal advice on tax matters in San José and in the Latin American and Caribbean region makes the team grow.

José Pablo advises local and multinational clients on compliance issues and tax efficient strategies in diverse industries such as banking, retail, agribusiness, real estate, pharmaceuticals, energy, among others. He has over fifteen years of tax litigation experience and has a solid reputation for effective planning and problem solving in navigating complex audits and disputes. Prior to joining Dentons, he worked at Aguilar Castillo Love as a Tax Partner for more than three years, and he also worked for Walmart Costa Rica as Tax Manager.
