LOIS adds José María de la Jara to strengthen its presence in Latin America  

Consulting firm LOIS is expanding its presence in Latin America, following the announcement of the incorporation of José María de la Jara as senior legal operations consultant.

In recent years, de la Jara has led more than 30 transformation, improvement and digitalisation projects for Latin American law firms in a wide range of industries, from banking and agribusiness to airlines and beauty.

According to his clients, de la Jara is an atypical consultant, who understands the frictions of human relationships and speaks the language of both lawyers and business.

Before focusing on legal operations, de la Jara spent more than a decade working in arbitration and dispute resolution at Covington & Burling, at the American Bar Association Rule of Law Initiative and at Peruvian firm Bullard Falla Ezcurra +.

Commenting on the signing, partner Jordi Estalella said that the new arrival, "has a significant impact on our work in Latin America.
