Mariana Campos joins Cuatrecasas as a Partner in Mexico City  

The new partner specializes in banking, capital markets and financial regulation.
 

Cuatrecasas is consolidating its strategic position in Mexico City with the addition of lawyer Mariana Campos as a new partner in the Finance group. Her appointment will allow the Firm to continue expanding its increasingly comprehensive range of services in Latin America, while reaffirming its commitment to a highly relevant practice in the region.

Throughout her more than 20 years of professional career, Mariana Campos has accumulated great prestige and experience in the areas of banking and finance, capital markets, financial regulatory affairs and banking operations.

Prior to joining the Firm, Mariana Campos has held positions of the highest responsibility in different financial institutions including Legal Director of Barclays Bank Mexico, S.A. de C.V., Legal Director of the Mexican Institutional Stock Exchange (BIVA) and Vice President-Assistant General Counsel of Banco J.P. Morgan, S.A., Institución de Banca Múltiple. She has also worked at renowned law firms in Mexico City and New York.

Mariana holds a law degree from the Universidad Iberoamericana de México, with honors, and a Master’s degree from New York University School of Law. She also holds a Diploma in Financial Law from the Instituto Tecnológico de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey.
