Beatriz García joined Pérez-Llorca in 2009, having previously worked at the Madrid office of a leading national firm. She was appointed partner at Pérez-Llorca in January 2018.
Experience
Beatriz practises in the Litigation and Public Law practice area.
She has extensive experience representing clients before the civil courts and the administrative courts, as well as in proceedings before the Court of Justice of the European Union.
She currently leads the practice handling damages claims arising from infringements of competition law and advises on high-profile matters in Spain and internationally in the automotive, energy, agri-food, financial and construction sectors, among others. Beatriz leads one of the pioneering teams in this practice in Spain and is recognised in the sector for her extensive experience handling complex matters involving multiple jurisdictions.
With in-depth knowledge of public procurement and recent amendments to the relevant legislation, Beatriz also provides ongoing advice to domestic and international companies participating in public tender processes and handles procurement proceedings.
Beatriz García actively contributes to scholarship in various areas of public law and procurement through teaching, publishing research articles and authoring legal works. Notably, as a public procurement expert, she has taken part in various courses and events organised by IFAES (International Forum for Executives) and has spoken at courses organised by the firm as an expert in public procurement and energy law.
