Carmen March

She began her career at Broseta Abogados in 1993, advising companies on all aspects of commercial and corporate law. From 1998 to 2005, she worked as in-house counsel, heading the regional legal department of telecommunications operator ONO and the legal department of Valencia-based property developer EDIVAL.
She rejoined Broseta Abogados in 2005, at its Valencia office, and is currently a partner in the Commercial Law practice.

With extensive experience in commercial law, her practice has focused particularly on mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructurings and corporate governance. She has advised on numerous transactions.

She regularly advises a wide range of companies, providing ongoing legal advice on corporate, commercial and contractual matters, among others, and has served as secretary to several boards of directors.

She has also advised on real estate transactions, primarily the purchase and sale of office buildings and industrial warehouses, as well as sale-and-leaseback transactions involving real estate assets, construction and technical services agreements, and the preparation and negotiation of lease agreements.

She has taught on the legal advisory master’s programme at Universidad Europea (structural changes) and has published on corporate and real estate law.

EDUCATION

• Law degree from the University of Valencia, 1990. Diploma in European Community Law from the Institute for European Studies at the Université libre de Bruxelles, 1991. She completed doctoral coursework in commercial law at the University of Valencia and various postgraduate courses, including at the Complutense University of Madrid and Instituto de Empresa (Madrid).
