Over his 24 years of experience, Jorge has advised domestic and international entities on a wide range of tax matters and represented them before the national tax authority and administrative tax courts. He also has extensive experience in public and regulatory law, advising numerous companies, particularly in the oil and telecommunications sectors, on all types of administrative proceedings and litigation.
Throughout his career, he has advised numerous companies on corporate transactions, including mergers, corporate transformations, liquidations, and domestic and international acquisitions.
He has also led public procurement processes, from reviewing tender documents to reviewing and signing contracts. Jorge is actively involved in advising on energy projects, particularly the review and drafting of turnkey EPC (engineering, procurement and construction) contracts in the energy sector.
His clients value his extensive legal knowledge and sound advice, and praise his availability and ability to work with international teams. This has enabled him to participate in structuring financing for Honduras’s largest energy and infrastructure projects.
