José Manuel Sipos

A highly regarded lawyer with extensive experience in competition law, he previously led this practice at PwC Tax & Legal Spain before joining BROSETA, where he also headed the Global Legal Network for Competition. Earlier, he led the Competition Law Unit at Telefónica for more than 10 years, where he spearheaded competition law advice during the liberalisation of the sector in Spain and the Telefónica Group’s international expansion.

With extensive experience advising national and multinational companies on strategic competition law matters before Spanish, European and Latin American authorities across all sectors, José Manuel Sipos is also recognised in his field by leading international directories such as Best Lawyers and Chambers & Partners.

EDUCATION

• Law degree from Complutense University of Madrid, diploma in economics from UNED and PDD from IESE Business School.
