A practising lawyer since 1991, he has extensive experience advising on banking law and related matters in both civil and criminal proceedings. He served as Coordinating Director of the Legal Services of Banco Santander Totta, S.A., in Portugal, with which he has worked since 2002 and which he has represented in around 2,000 court cases.

Experienced in civil and criminal litigation, he currently coordinates around 500 cases pending before the courts of Portugal.
