Ronald Lachner

Over more than 20 years of practice, Ronald Lachner has advised a range of domestic and international companies on various commercial matters and mergers and acquisitions transactions.
In the free trade zone, foreign investment and export practices, Ronald is a recognized industry expert. He has advised leading international companies on establishing their operations in Costa Rica under the Free Trade Zone Regime, providing sophisticated advice on the strategy, procedures and structuring required to access the regime’s benefits. He currently advises on the country’s largest and most prominent investment projects. His clients recognize him for providing innovative and agile solutions tailored to their business models. He provides personalized support to his free trade zone clients in their day-to-day operations, as well as in incentive renewal processes (20 bis), expansions of activities and areas, audit support, defense in administrative proceedings and processes for withdrawing from the regime, among other matters. As a highly active sector for mergers and acquisitions, Ronald has participated in the industry’s most significant transactions.
