Sergio Agüera

Sergio joined Pérez-Llorca in 2001, after practising for two years at two law firms in Barcelona. He was made partner in January 2011.
He is part of Pérez-Llorca’s corporate team, specialising in real estate transactions and mergers and acquisitions.
In 2007, Sergio worked temporarily at Dewey & Leboeuf, LLP’s New York office, where he joined the finance and projects team.
Sergio specialises in transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions, project development and execution, joint ventures and real estate law. He also has experience in corporate restructurings, insolvency law, and general corporate and commercial matters.
Sergio has mainly worked in the real estate, industrial, family business and distribution sectors.
Sergio has advised domestic and international clients, including investment funds, financial institutions, property developers and construction companies, end users, family offices, consumer goods and hydrocarbons distributors, and service providers.

• Law degree from Universitat Pompeu Fabra (Barcelona), 1998.
