Arias participated in unibanks acquisition of seguros vivir in Panamá

ARIAS provided legal counsel to Grupo Humano, S.A., as the seller, and to Vivir Compañía de Seguros, S.A., as the target company, on key aspects related to the closing of the sale of 100% of the shares of Vivir Compañía de Seguros, S.A. to UniBank, S.A., a licensed banking entity in Panama.
The firm advised on the negotiation of pre-closing conditions required to complete the transaction, as well as on related tax matters. The transaction was approved by the Superintendency of Insurance and Reinsurance of Panama and the Superintendency of Banks of Panama, and was finalized on May 20, 2025.
