Fegamo & Vasaf opens its doors in the City of Guadalajara, Jalisco

Fegamo & Vasaf, S.C. continues to grow by opening its doors in the City of Guadalajara, Jalisco, resulting in a second office for the Firm. The foregoing is aligned to the growth and expansion strategy initiated by the Firm since 2019. Edmundo Torres Barajas (Corporate / Mergers & Acquisitions / Regulatory Compliance) and Diego González Aguirre (Employment) will be joining the Firm as Partners, as well as Lilliana González Flores (Employment), as Senior Associate and Eduardo González Hernández (Environmental), as Of Counsel.

Edmundo joins the Firm as Partner of the Corporate practice group. He is an attorney with substantive experience in different areas of the law, such as Corporate, Mergers and Acquisitions, Compliance, Real Estate, Private Equity, Anticorruption, among others. Edmundo is a Law graduate from the Universidad Panamericana and has a specialty in Commercial Corporations from the Universidad Panamericana (Guadalajara). Throughout his career Edmundo has represented industry-leading national and foreign clients engaging in the agricultural, automotive, chemical, retail, technology, medical equipment, healthcare, and foods and beverages industries. "It is a pleasure for me to join Fegamo & Vasaf, as well as to have the opportunity to inaugurate their offices in Guadalajara. Diego González Aguirre is joining the Firm as Partner of the Employment practice group. He graduated from the Universidad Panamericana and holds a master’s degree from the Universitat Abat Oliba in Barcelona and a Doctorate in Law from Universidad Panamericana. His practice is focused in multi-jurisdictional employment matters, compensations, benefits, terminations, collective suspensions and negotiations, employee transfers, collective and employment litigation, social security, immigration, and others. Diego has extensive experience within the mining, energy, maquila, automotive, services and financial industries. "I am really honored to be part of Fegamo & Vasaf, a Firm that shares our work ethic and values.
