Profile
She has 17 years of experience advising domestic and multinational companies on tax matters, including tax consulting, tax planning, tax diagnostics, and the structuring of acquisitions, investments, and corporate and wealth reorganizations in the Central American market. Her experience includes providing tax consulting and wealth restructuring services to prominent domestic and multinational companies in Costa Rica and the Central American region, as well as participating in mergers and acquisitions. She has led tax analyses on numerous acquisitions and company sales, including cross-border transactions.
She serves as a tax adviser to the Chamber of Commerce and represents the Costa Rican Foreign Trade and Representatives of Foreign Companies Chamber (CRECEX) before UCCAEP’s Tax Subcommittee.
Cristina is a founding member and treasurer of Women in the Profession Costa Rica (WIP), the Costa Rican chapter of the Vance Center.
