Fernando joined as a partner in 2000. He works across a broad range of business matters, focusing on the planning and execution of commercial and financial transactions. He also structures international transactions for domestic and foreign clients.
He advises on mergers and acquisitions and has extensive experience in banking law and corporate finance. Fernando played an active role in the privatization of water and sanitation companies. He has extensive experience in public tenders, as well as bond issuances, syndicated loans, private placements and loan agreements generally.
