Lucy Objío joined Pellerano & Herrera in 2009 and became a partner in 2012. She has fourteen years of legal experience, focusing on civil, commercial and employment litigation; constitutional law; intellectual and industrial property; copyright; consumer law; insurance litigation; real estate; aviation and maritime law; and commercial arbitration. She has experience advising clients on banking, commercial and corporate regulations, and on franchise and distribution matters, among others. She regularly advises local and international companies and financial institutions on matters including complex contracts, dispute resolution, real estate disputes, intellectual property litigation, shareholders’ agreements, telecommunications and monetary compensation arising from claims.
Lucy has worked on a range of maritime cases involving matters such as maritime attachment claims, ship mortgage enforcement, freight disputes, marine insurance claims, cargo claims and other related matters. She has represented clients in most of the firm’s employment litigation, winning 90% of judgments.
Lucy has been recognized by Chambers & Partners Latin America, Legal 500 and Who’s Who Legal for dispute resolution. She was named among the TOP25 Women in Litigation in Latin America in 2018 and 2019 and was selected as a Litigation Star in 2019 by Benchmark Litigation.
