Mauricio Martínez

Mauricio has extensive experience in corporate law, real estate, commercial law, family law, agrarian law, litigation and foreign investment. During his career, Mr Martínez has served as legal director in the creation of a 2,000-hectare private reserve in southern Costa Rica. He has also been actively involved in promoting the country's Coastal Zone Land Law before the Legislative Assembly.

He recently participated in three separate property transactions, all in southern Costa Rica, with a total value of US$ 3,000,000. He also acted as lead counsel on the transfer of a pineapple operation, which closed successfully for US$ 25,000,000. He is advising on the first investment in agricultural activity by a Costa Rican company in the Republic of Ghana, Africa.
