Profile
He has extensive experience in corporate employment law, in both individual and collective matters.
For more than 13 years, he has advised local and regional companies. During that time, he has taught Roman Law and Employment Law at the University of Costa Rica, and served as a professor and coordinator of the Specialized Employment Law Program offered by the University of Costa Rica’s Continuing Education Program for lawyers and non-lawyer professionals directly involved in this area of law. He also served as a professor and coordinator of the Employment Law Specialist Program at the School of Business Administration/FUNDATEC of the Costa Rica Institute of Technology. He has also taught Employment Law and Social Security at several private universities in Costa Rica.
He is currently a member of the Excellence Committee of the Costa Rican Bar Association, the body responsible for designing, preparing and reviewing the Academic Excellence Examination, which law graduates must pass to join the bar and practise law.
