Profile
With more than 20 years of experience advising on multinational corporate structuring and reorganisations, as well as local companies with a regional presence in the banking, retail, cable, hospitality, telecommunications, insurance and real estate industries in Central America. He also advises on family wealth planning.
During his career, he has served as an external consultant to the Inter-American Development Bank in Costa Rica. He has also served as deputy director of international taxation, as a member of and contributor to the team that drafted the tax reform, and as an adviser to the Office of the Minister of Finance.
He is currently a member of the Excellence Committee of the Costa Rican Bar Association, which is responsible for designing, preparing and reviewing the Academic Excellence Examination, which law graduates must pass to join the bar and practise law.
